Michelle is a 27 year old striker and has been playing hockey for fifteen years. Michelle has only had one previous club which was Chapeltown Hockey Club.
Three words Michelle’s team mates would use to describe her are, goal scorer, positive and helpful.
The advice that Michelle would give to anyone who wanted to join Lockwood Park Dragons is to ‘give it a go- contrary to all rumours we don’t bite or breathe fire’.
Michelle feels that there are great benefits from playing Hockey ‘you make good friendships, feel part of a team, plus it’s a good way to keep fit!’
If Michelle did not play hockey she does not know what she would do instead.
Playing hockey makes Michelle feel, ‘When we win - fantastic, especially if I have scored a cracking goal. When we lose or don’t play well, it can be frustrating, but it’s all a part of the game’.
