Roisheen McEwan
Roisheen is a twenty three year old right midfielder and is joint captain of Lockwood Park Dragons third team. She has been playing Hockey for seven years and previously played for Nottingham Trent University.
The three words Roisheen’s team mates would use to describe her are; Lively, Fun and Organised.
The advice Roisheen would give to anyone wanting to join Lockwood Park Dragons is “Come down its great fun and everyone is welcoming and friendly. Even if you just fancy a run about at training it makes you feel much better”.
The benefits Roisheen feels you get from playing Hockey are, team work, friendship and the health benefits.
If Roisheen did not play Hockey she would play another sport and maybe take up rock climbing.
Hockey makes Roisheen feel “like I have something to do and the ability to run about and let steam off. Relaxed and happy”.
