ABOUT US 
 
Lockwood Park Dragons Ladies Hockey Club (LPD) was formed in 2004 following a merger of two Kirklees clubs; Lockwood Park Ladies Hockey Club and the Dragons Hockey Club. The merger brought two local rivalries to an end and created a club that could go forward to achieve greater success.
 
Based at Lockwood Park, Huddersfield, we play at a twenty six acre former brewery estate which, with the assistance of a matching £2 million grant from the Sports Council, has been transformed into a major sports complex, conference centre and business park.
 
Playing alongside us are Huddersfield Men's Hockey Club, Huddersfield Rugby Union Football Club, Huddersfield Road Runner A.C., Huddersfield Bowling Club, Huddersfield Squash Club and Huddersfield Borough Club.
 
Lockwood Park Dragons is made up of 3 ladies teams playing in the following leagues:
 
1st team 

North League Division 1

2nd team

Yorkshire League Division 1

3rd team

Yorkshire League Division 6
