CLUB COACH  KAYA BATH"Hi Im Kaya and here to hopefully be a great coach to you all this season! I prefer to be known as Tinks due to people struggling to say and spell Kaya! Me as a Coach I've been coaching for 6 years, starting off with a junior development squad back home in Norwich and progressing onto Head Junior Coach. Two years ago I moved to Sheffield to start my degree in PE and Youth Sport at Sheffield Hallam University and joined Sheffield Hockey Club as both a player and coach to Sheffield Ladies 5s and 6s. In addition to coaching at Sheffield HC, I am the South Yorkshire School Girls and Youth Organiser and Head Coach for the county squads. This season I've been working with many of South Yorkshire and the North's top junior hockey players helping them to develop and hopefully reach their highest level. Me as a Player Playing wise I have played East Premier Hockey but since being at uni have suffered a series of injuries which ended with a dislocated wrist and ruptured ligaments last summer. This has led to my early retirement from playing and becoming a coach!
I'm generally a nice easygoing person but have to admit that my pet hates are lateness and people not making the effort to attend training! I turn up and get wet/cold etc so please make the effort! Im looking forward to making the move to Lockwood Park Dragons and working with the wide variety of players here. Please feel free if anyone has any ideas for training etc to let me know."
