Lockwood Park Dragons 6 vs 2 Berwick upon Tweed
From the outset Lockwood Dragons dominated the 70 minutes against Berwick.Sarah Blackburn opened the scoring with a well taken goal from a right slip ball from Turner. With 2 goals a piece from Nicky Turner and Amanda Sowerby Lockwood seldom looked threatened and the defence were seldom troubled. The second half saw Michelle Dexter, returning from injury roofing the ball into the top of the Berwick net. Berwick rallied late to secure 2 consolation goals in the closing minutes. A polished all round team effort from the Dragons, ensures the team, despite injury stricken this year, continue to climb the league and are currently seventh.
