Driffield vs Lockwood Park Dragons
On Saturday Lockwood Park Dragons are travelling away to play Driffield Ladies first team. The last time that these two faced each other was back in November. Lockwood suffered a one nil loss - though it was an undeserved defeat as Lockwood had the majority of the possession and the most chances to win the game. Driffield are currently in 8th position in the North Women’s Hockey League and four points below LPD. A win for Lockwood would not move there position in the table but a win for Driffield would put pressure on the above teams as the season draws to a close. Lockwood are definatly on a high going into the game this week as they managed a 3-7 victory away at Didsbury Greys, I am sure that the form the ladies achieved last weekend can definatly be carried on with another away win this weekend at Driffield.
After the game this weekend it sees the ladies with their final two games of the season, having won 6 of their away games this season I am sure that they will want to make it eight wins away from home starting with trying to make it seven this weekend. Good Luck!
