Slazengers III 1 vs 0 Lockwood Park Dragons III
The match on Saturday was not up to Lockwood’s normal standard, but the team fought well. There was some very good individual work from many of the players in particular Maizy Carr, Mariella Dobson and Becky Malinson who all received joint player – of – the – Match.
The first half was very even between both teams if not more so Lockwood park being the stronger of the two but were unable to capitalise from their attacking opportunities. At the end of the 1st half Slazengers made one last attacking surge and after a lot of fumbling from both teams in the D they slide a shot past the keeper.
The second half was even more even and neither team were able to increase or equalise the score.
